The Time For Your Health Is Now: 4 Ways To Maximize Your Time.

Time for better health

The hands on the clock keep turning without abandon. TIME! We all would like more time every now and again. In fact, we talk about all the tasks, projects, relationships, and more that could be completed or bolstered if we just had the time. And, wow! Our health would be so much greater too.

So, how do we get more time? Maybe, the better question is how we maximize it.

Let’s start with jotting down the things you said you would do if you had more time.

Now, write down all the areas where you feel you spend too much time. Yep, make two lists.

Great! Look at both the lists and rank them. You can rank them as you want, but as a suggestion use this as your ranking system.

  • Increases my value
  • Neutral
  • Decreases my value

Once you have both lists ranked, you should be able to determine which activities stay and which go. This will sometimes be hard truths to face, but you have to take the plunge and just begin.

Looking at your lists again, hopefully, something regarding improvement in your health made the cut. If not, you are already doing a great job and kudos to you for that. If you do not have it, maybe now is the TIME! Why?

Simply, if you are looking for more time, a healthy lifestyle gives you back time in life. Do not delay, start today! You may need to go back to your lists and identify another area that decreases your value and add improving your health in that slot.

Here are some other ways to recapture time.

4 Ways To Maximize Your Efforts
  1. Set deadlines. Now that you have recreated your essential project list, you need to give yourself deadlines to completion. This will help you accomplish your task and transition into the next one.
  2. Get the old egg timer out. Setting a timer will help you stay focused. Have you ever seen someone in a social media vortex? They are aimlessly scrolling and scrolling. And, all they got out of it was a loss of self and time. Make sure you do not end up in some time wasting vortex and set that timer.
  3. Itemize projects. Yes, if you itemize your projects from most important to least important, you will spend the bulk of your efforts where it really matters.
  4. Plan ahead. Okay, we all have access to a calendar, of sorts. Well, use it to optimize your days. Without putting an agenda together, you may fall of track and waste valuable hours.

Now is the time! Rise up each day with a mission to accomplish those health goals you have been meaning to do. Rise and shine, my fitness friends!

Yours in Health,
